Amedee Lighthouse

What To Know Before You Go To New Caledonia

  • Bring insect repellent. Malaria and Dengue fever are prevalent in New Caledonia and protection is essential to prevent you from contracting these diseases.
  • Almost all attractions and shops are closed on Mondays or Sundays. Make sure you have enough food to hold you over, especially if your hotel doesn't provide meals.
